When you get the security warning, just click RUN. There's a long box at the bottom (when you get in) , just above where it says PUBLIC ... #THESCOUSEHOUSE click in there and type your message. You'll be able to see who is in chat on the right hand side (in my case there's me). 
I have a red hot poker and I know how to use it

Maybe on the front page of this forum (by the word: Chat) there could be a little box that shows how many are in the chat room.. cause there seems never to be????

On the old board it use to say who was in chat, at least you knew there was someone.
